I love the movie Camelot. I love all the singing. I think we should all sing our way through life, that's why I love my ipod. I carry it with me everywhere I go and even if I'm not singing on the outside, I'm listening to music and singing on the inside. There's a chance that someday I may break out in song and dance down the aisle at the grocery store. But I'm not sure I'd want to see myself in such a course of action. Last week Matt and I enjoyed two days of skiing at Northstar. This year he added a new toy to the getaway - a helmet camera. In the fashionable style of Mr. Gadget, he bought a helmet and attached a small video camera to the top. Luckily, for the sake of my pride, there were others skiers also wearing these cameras and apparently anyone who tries to imitate the X Games is in love with these devices.
The problem is this, because Matt was wearing the camera, all the videos are of me. There are certain things in life I don't need to see about myself. You know how people who are in a life threatening situation claim that their entire life passes before them? Well, I never want to experience that. I prefer the Top Ten events where I look my best- something like what you'd see on Sport's Center.
I can happily say that I no longer ski in a "snow plow" position, making "pizza slice" turns. But I thought that I was skiing really fast with my ski's perfectly parallel all the time and these videos dare to suggest otherwise. It's so much easier to make yourself sound great when there is no proof of anything else. So while YouTube may be a place many people would like to find videos of themselves, I prefer to live in anonymity believing I'm much better than I am.

Let's see them!
Actually, that's from Kelly...
We really need the videos to be able to judge for ourselves.
Come on, can't you just imagine me? I'm awesome!!!
