One of my favorite books to read to Emily is the Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck. She loves to carry around the Beatrix Potter books, they are just her size. Imagine our delight when Mr. Fox showed up in person.
I am waiting to see evidence of Beatrix Potters pet frogs, newts, ferrets, of course Samuel Whiskers, and even her pet bat in your backyard. But, the fox stands on its own. Weird you can look out the window and see that.........
I love this. I have always been partial to Jemima Puddle Duck myself (have the picture frame, book, figurine, etc.) For a little girl this would be so awesome. Stuff comes to life at times like this. I still remember daddy made me a paper "mirror" from Alice in Wonderland that I hung from my doorway and walked through to a whole new world. Oh childhood...
